A and B conference meet information!

Byron Center Age group swimmers,

Meet this Thursday - Concession Help Needed

Concessions during home meets are our biggest opportunity for fundraising.
We need your help to make this possible.

Currently, posted on the bulletin board is a list if items needed for our next home meet held on July 15. This is a AM meet, so we will need items people will eat for breakfast. If you are able, please sign up for one or two items along with the amount you can donate. Feel free to bring your items in anytime up to 1 day before the meet and put them in the basket that is under the mailbox table.

NO PRACTICE TONIGHT

Dear swimmers and families,

Unfortunatley, the Byron Center community pool was affected by the storms last night. There has been no power all day, and is expected to last until later this evening, so I am sorry to say we have to cancel practice:( Please have everyone there at practice on Wednesday so we can get prepared for our home meet on Thursday:)

Thank you for understanding,

Erin Tramper

First age group meet June 17th away at Grandville

Hello all,

The time of the season has come around for our first dual meet!!!!! Everyone has been practicing so hard and now its time to watch all that practice pay off:)

The sign-up sheets have been posted on the upstairs bulletin board, please be sure either to sign your swimmer up, or make sure they sign up! They may sign up for 2 individual events, or more and I will choose what they get to swim:) PLEASE IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO ATTEND THE MEET, MARK ON THE SIGN IN SHEET THAT YOUR SWIMMER WILL NOT BE THERE!!!!!!

Did You Know?

Did you know that you can email Coach Erin directly? If you have a question for her, or need to let her know something about your child--i.e. unable to attend practice or a meet--or just want to tell her how what a great job she's doing, you can email her at etramper4@gmail.com. That way, it gets to her sooner, rather than having to wait for Jodie (team secretary) to forward it to her. Check out our contact list for more emails you might want to put in your address book...

Swim Meet Volunteers- WE NEED YOU!

Welcome! Our first home swim meet is coming up on June 24th! Erin and the coaches have been working hard with the kids. We can't wait to see them swim! As always, we will be needing volunteers for the meets.
I will be putting up sign-up sheets next week. Here are a list of the various jobs! They are very fun and keep you out of the HEAT in the stands!!! First come, first serve signups! Don't be shy!!! Thanks in advance for your support.

Timers:
16 timers needed for each swim meet (2 per lane) No experience required! Training given prior to meet

A little bit of change...

Dear Swimmers and Parents,

I'd like to inform you that I have been blessed with an opportunity to become a part of the pool management with the YMCA. I was offered the full time Aquatic Program Specialist position here at Byron Center, and I started my duties on Monday!:)

My commitment and passion for our team has not changed, I will still be the Head Coach of our USA and Age-Group programs. In my new position, I will be able to look out for Byron Center's best interest, and oversee ALL the programs here!

Welcome Swimmers and Parents

BC Dawgs 2010 summer swimming is underway! The coaching staff is excited to get the kids back in the pool. Gold practice commenced last night and the rest of the groups will get in the water this evening. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to find a coach or board member. We would all be happy to help.

Season begins Monday!

Hello Parents and Swimmers,

Monday starts our Spring/Summer 2010 age group season!!! All of the coaches and myself are excited for the season to begin. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to e-mail me, the assistant coaches, or the board members. See you all on Monday:) Don't forget your suits, goggles and towels!

USA REMINDER: Entries for both the JAWS first chance meet and Sun and Fun are due by MAY 20th! Get them to me, or the drop box upstairs ASAP! Thanks.

Enjoy your weekend everyone,

Erin Tramper
